Abbey of Lavaudieu built in 1057 by Saint Robert, founder of the Chaise-Dieu. Remarkable church (11th-12th centuries), set of murals of the Italian school (14th century). Cloister: the only preserved in the Romanesque Auvergne. Refectory, 12th century Byzantine-influenced fresco.
