Construction in neo-Byzantine style, typical of the nineteenth century, the buildings housed the nuns and their boarders. The chapel built in 1827 remains a place of worship and the chapter house has been converted into an exhibition space. The convent of the climb of the College is the second of the order of the nuns of the Visitation on Montluel. The buildings built from 1825 to house the nuns and their boarders are typical of the neo-Byzantine style that later illustrated the Basilica of Fourvière. Although the girls' college was quickly closed, the Sisters of the Visitation did not leave Montluel until 1990. The exhibition presents nearly 200 years of religious history.
