The castle is a mixture of several periods of construction: on the foundations of a mansion in the fifteenth century expanded in the first quarter of the seventeenth century a pleasure castle, remodeled in the third quarter of the nineteenth century. On December 28, 1978 the castle was partially listed as a historical monument. A major rehabilitation program of the site is underway with the renovation of all listed elements.
