Starting Friday, September 15, the school public will be able to participate in the operation «Raise your eyes!» in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Youth.
Students will discover or rediscover the heritage of their region to learn about its history and specificities, awakening to the importance of its protection and enhancement.

Installed(Settled) in the old(former) city council-school of the village, the museum suggests discovering Revermont, in the past earth of vineyards(vines) and earth of clay for the famous earthenware of Meillonnas. In the museum, the schoolroom of the boys was reconstructed in situ. Skip behind an office(desk), close eyes a few moments and dive in the school at the time of Jules Ferry. Many photos of class in Revermont from 1885 till 1939 are available for consultation on the first floor, towards the room of toys. Integral part and feature of the museum, protective kitchen garden and orchard highlight more than 650 sorts(species) local, curious or forgotten by plants. The public participle also in this preservation of the old(former) varieties by exchanges of seeds and of experiences(experiments) of bringing under cultivation. By travelling(browsing) the garden, take the measure of the double ambition of the museum: satisfy pleasure and curiosity while contributing to the conservation of sorts(species) and of cultivated biodiversity.
