Launch of the exhibition «La dolce vita d'Antoine Brun» Among the 170 models preserved by the Antoine Brun Museum, many are those that represent a monument of Italy. It must be said that the monumental heritage is here plethoric and diversified: it could only arouse the interest of our model maker. The exhibition proposes a form of «grand tour» through the built heritage of the peninsula. Throughout these two afternoons, guided tours of the Antoine Brun Museum will be offered by the volunteers of the association «Les Amis du Patrimoine de Sainte Consorce».

The Antoine Brun museum keeps(preserves) 160 wooden models realised between 1840 and 1900\. This place invites you in a motionless journey: models executed by this self-educated person represent monuments of the whole world. These unique(only) and remarkable rooms(parts,plays) in their kind(genre) are stories of the technical virtuosity of their creator but also of his anchoring in his time(period). Indeed, Antoine Brun has never travelled otherwise than by the illustrating. Without the development of press in the second half of the XIXth century, these heads - of work would not have been created.
