For Inde(s) au pluriel, we have chosen to present six photographers of the gallery including unpublished for William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Marc Riboud and Denis Roche and two guests Françoise Nuñez (represented by Camera Obscura) and Raghu Rai* (Indian photographer represented by Magnum).
All leave free rein to their perception, without protocol or premeditated program. They make a photograph that is anchored in the stakes of the act.
Our exhibition will dialogue the deep time of each and his poetry. This will create a kaleidoscopic vision of this country that has fascinated an entire generation.
*In 2019, Raghu Rai is the winner of the 1st edition of the Photography Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts - William Klein.

A gallery of 300 m2 on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, in Lyon. Rather cosy, well distributed, and entirely devoted to contemporary photography and its various writings. It is the Lamppost, that animates a double acute look, demanding and without complacency: that of Catherine Dérioz and Jacques Damez, its creators, whose qualities, over the years, have become virtues.
