Construction of the Minimes convent began in 1630 and continued until 1703, when the cloister and the main façade of the church were completed. In 1802 it became the seat of the new parish of Saint-Pierre-les-Minimes. It is the largest building after the cathedral. The bell tower overlooking the pediment dates from 1857\. The architect Jean-Joseph Teillard built from 1895 to 1899 the lantern-tower with dome that rises to 60 meters and remakes the apse. The interior preserves many works of art, both in paintings and sculptures.
