Les Moulins de la Mouche, from the Renaissance to the 20th century

The fly is a river south of Lyon that has run up to seven mills but also hemp beaters, tanneries, laundries. An exhibition and a conference on Sunday, September 17 at 3 pm will allow to understand the mechanism of milling, the work of mil_le_rs, the various factories and industries that used the strength of the water of this beautiful river and all the social life that attached to it.

• The exhibition and the conference will be illustrated with more than 100 visual documents from the departmental and lovcales archives.
• A reconstructed mill wheel will be visible at the heart of the exhibition.
