Housed in an 18th-century castle (Historical Monument), the ecomuseum, managed by the Firminy History Society, allows the discovery of the various Appelous heritage. Visit of the ecomuseum (workshop of the cloutier, bakehouse, classroom, old toys and productions GéGé, apartment 1900...), historic rooms (kitchens, living rooms, room, gallery of portraits...), gardens, chapel and exhibition in progress: Birth of sport in Ondaine from 1896 to 1952 (photos, models...).
