In the Chair-God, do not miss the old(former) abbey Benedictine based(established) in the 11th century from which it stays a Gothic minster sheltering a splendid mural painting of the 15th century: " the dance of death ", 144 sculpted stalls surrounding the grave of the pope Clement VI.Vous will also discover a rood screen Flamboyant Gothic separating the nave and the chorus(choir) of the monks, a sideboard(buffet) of organs of the 17th century, a cloister, a room of echo in amazing acoustics, tower Clementine, the door of the Fort and the path round the battlements, so many(much) elements of defence and of fortification, proofs of wealth and of importance of this abbey which should be at the appropriate time the 3rd French monastic order...
