After many years of sleep during which the Fabrique du Point du Jour deteriorated, it was the subject of a first rescue and restoration campaign in 2021. The inauguration of the restored factory took place during the 2021 edition of the European Heritage Days. It opens again this year to the public. We invite you to discover during a guided tour, the history of its creator, André Duchesne, his inspirations and the traces he left in the region. You will visit the different floors of this medieval castle that will nourish the imagination of young and old.

The Fabrique du Point Du Jour is an unusual and rare architectural element. It is part of the «Fabriques de jardin», ornamental. It appears between 1908 and 1911 and was built by André Duchesne, agent-voyer and architect. He left Saint-Savin with several achievements (the monument to the dead in Place de la République, the current town hall ...), but also the town hall school of Antigny…
