This coin minting demonstration is carried out by the Crémolane association EPIC (Etude du Patrimoine de l'Isle Crémieu). This demonstration pays tribute to the past of our medieval city. Indeed, Crémieu was a place where money was minted. It was a major economic hub. This demonstration allows us to share and perpetuate this know-how.

Crémieu is the capital of Isle-crémieu, a country in the heart of the Dauphiné, 40 km from Lyon. The territory of Isle-Crémieu has a wide variety of landscapes combining woods, ponds, rivers in the plains and high cliffs.
