Dating from the second half of the 18th century, the Château Borély is emblematic of the mansions built around the city by large Marseilles families. Dedicated to the Decorative Arts, the museum presents in the spaces of the castle Borély, a selection of two thousand five hundred works: furniture, ceramics, glasses, tapestries, objects of art, rare exotic objects, design and fashion collections, from the XVIII century to the present day.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 9am to 6pm. Closed weekly on Mondays, except Easter Mondays and Pentecost Mondays. Closed on 1 January, 1 May, 1 and 11 November, 25 and 26 December.
Rates: Free for young people under 18 years, disabled and an accompanying person, leisure center without accommodation (CLSH), school, unemployed and beneficiary of the RSA... Reduced rate for people over 65, group purchases of more than 15 people…
