Of Romanesque origin, it has been extensively remodelled at different times: the original apse has disappeared and various additions and modifications, including the construction of side chapels in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, have profoundly transformed the original church. However, the choir overlooked by an elegant octagonal dome on trumpets still bears witness to the Romanesque influence. Battered by the weather, a section of walls collapsed following a violent storm in 2017. The association "Anesca" collects donations to allow its restoration.
