Das Fort de Bouc liegt am Eingang des Kanals von Caronte und erhebt seinen monumentalen quadratischen Turm und seine Mauern auf einer alten felsigen Insel. Seit 1993 ist es im Besitz der Stadt Martigues, die es restauriert hat. Die kommentierte Überquerung der Fahrrinne und der anschließende Besuch der Festung ermöglichen es, diese Stätte sowohl geografisch als auch historisch und kulturell zu verstehen.

Located at the entrance of the Caronte channel, the fort of Bouc erects its monumental square tower and its ramparts on an old rocky islet. Since 1993, it is the property of the city of Martigues which restored it. The commented crossing of the channel and then the visit of the fort allow to understand this site both from a geographical, historical and heritage point of view.

Situé à l'entrée du chenal de Caronte, le fort de Bouc dresse sa monumentale tour carrée et ses remparts sur un ancien îlot rocheux. Depuis 1993, il est propriété de la ville de Martigues qui l'a restauré. La traversée commentée du chenal puis la visite du fort permettent d’appréhender ce site tant du point de vue géographique, qu’historique et patrimonial.
