Rehabilitated in 2015 in its entirety, it offers an attractive visit highlighting the history of Châteaurenard: its agriculture and traditions. The themes are related on panels made up of photographs of times: agriculture and its tools, irrigation, shipping, the Provençal costume, the three charrettes (St Eloi, Madeleine, and St Omer), the bullfighting games... In 2021 an exhibition "The Ages of Life" was set up in the museum. Compliance with the health rules in force.

About the location

Musée des outils agraires et des traditions
31bis rue Jentelin, 13160 Châteaurenard
  • Bouches-du-Rhône
  • Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
The museum is located in an old house, with exposed stones. The history of agriculture in Châteaurenard is found in the traditional festivals of Saint Eloi and Madeleine. A man, André Vachet, devoted his life to collecting these agricultural tools (iron and wood).
