Visit of all the rooms of the Museum, in total autonomy, with booklets and videos, but also of the renovated tile.
Our favourites:
- Reclaimed underground machinery with interpretive panels (outside) from the 1950s to the 2000s. - the geology room with its numerous fossils of plants, shells, crocodiles, turtles etc and its diorama (reconstruction of the local palaeoenvironment). - The screening room and its archive films on the mine;
And the collections of the other rooms of the museum: - Models of the Hély d'Oissel well and working techniques evolving over time.
- Engine room with its 1950’s electric motor + 1 film with testimonies of miners.
- Control room of the dangers of the background; mini-lamps with a very large collection of lamps ranging from the 17th century to 2003.
- Reconstructed mine site with tools from the 1920s to the 2000s.
