The "canons regular of Saint-Augustin", installed around an abbey church of the XIII°, were reformed in 1635 by the Congregation of Saint-Geneviève which had the conventual buildings rebuilt (of which there is currently a staircase, remains of a cloister and a courtyard of honour). The church, ruined in 1810, was restored in the second half of the 20th century to become a museum. In the Angevin style, it is covered with a broken cradle with multiple ribs, with a vault turned up at the level of the windows; it has been restored in a contemporary aesthetic with deliberately neutral materials (glass and metal) in order to highlight the initial architecture. The building houses the studio plasters of the sculptor P.J. David, dit David d'Angers (1788-1856). M.O Mandy. (2002).
