Guided tour of a family dairy farm.
The Marguerite family farm opens its doors. The human, economic, built and natural heritage of dairy farms is a heritage to be preserved and transmitted. The commune of Plessé has been working for two years on its municipal agricultural policy, the main theme of its action is the transmission of farms. The municipality considers it its collective duty to develop a field of actions to preserve this present and vital heritage for the rural world. This day will be an opportunity to discuss the safeguarding of the built heritage with the housing buildings of farmers, the safeguarding of the agricultural land feeder, the safeguarding of biodiversity (water and hedges) and the safeguarding of the agricultural economic fabric. A tour loop is proposed on the farm with the interventions of different agricultural structures. A highlight is scheduled at 18:00 on 2 examples of installations on Plessé, on the agricultural policy put in place by the municipality, and on the tools that can be put in place. A snack bar and fast food will be installed.
