The show «Blades en table» will plunge you in 1795, in the middle of the Vendée Wars. Between actions, history and humor, you will discover a thrilling adventure in which will evolve colorful characters in the heart of an emblematic place for the Vendéens: the tavern of Master Jacques! Show written and directed by Laurent TIXIER.

The museum is housed in a 12th-century building dominated by a massive four-tower corner keep built in the late 11th century; enclosure built in the 16th and 17th centuries on the site of older courtines. During the Hundred Years War, the castle underwent work of defences and reinforcement of buildings. At the beginning of the 18th century, the castle saw the reconstruction of its towers and the transformation of the keep into artillery work. In the 19th century, the castle served as a barracks.
