Under the sun of Atila
This hanging, installed in the museum’s news gallery, highlights the abundant work and the European journey of Attila Biró, known as Atila, born in Hungary, having grown up in Germany and then in France. Present in the collections of the Kandinsky Library for its realization of about fifty 1%, his work is revealed here in all its aspects: painting, drawings, engravings, archives. This presentation also celebrates the 10th anniversary of the donation of a significant collection of works to the Toussaint Media Library and the Angers Museum of Fine Arts.
Guided tours and a conference are planned around the exhibition.
Event organised within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This event is not organized by the French Government. It is, however, authorized by the latter to use the emblem of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
