On the very site of the Battle of the Isle de Rié, this walk will make you relive the great hours of the Isle de Rié, in 1622. This visit will also help you better understand a territory that lost its insularity in the following century. A first double-sided sign recounts the Battle. Five other signs then line the trail, along the Ligneron. They deal with cartography, and in particular with Claude MASSE, engineer-geographer.
