Journey of Nadia Szczepara: Under the double Quebec and Polish ancestry, Nadia Szczepara leaves Montreal at the age of 18 to open herself up to the chance of travelling and dedicating herself to painting. In 2005, alone in a village at the foot of the Bulgarian mountains, she approaches for the first time the landscape that she will refine over the years. Nadia Szczepara exhibits her paintings regularly, notably in Nantes, Paris, Bulgaria and Quebec. She settled in 2020 in the Vendée bocage with her husband Benjamin Barouh. They create the Amateurs de l'Ours, a garden and a place of meditation and residence for artists, creators or contemplatives that opens this summer 2022. In 2021, Nadia Szczepara published her first book “Sanitary Tactics”. «Voir» is the fourth exhibition of the works of Nadia Szczepara in the Vendée bocage, after «Le Bocage dans les yeux» at the Château d'Ardelay (les Herbiers), «Journal d'outre-terre» at the Espace Galipeau (Saint-Mesmin) and the exhibition of drawings of «Tactics sanitaires» at 22bis (Herbaria).
