Since 1774, Freemasonry has been present in the Nazairian region.
The original temple was destroyed during the bombing of the city on February 23, 1943.
A new temple was rebuilt and inaugurated on 18 February 1954.
The European Heritage Days will allow you to discover this original temple, decorated by the painter Émile Guillaume, from Brittany.
It will be an opportunity for visitors to exchange with Freemasons members of different obediences on what Freemasonry is, beyond the conventional wisdom.
