The Museum of Prehistory, opened since 2017, offers the discovery of prehistory in Saulges and Mayenne. The permanent exhibition is completed with a space related to geology and another to nature. A temporary exhibition and animations are regularly offered. This allows to complete the visit of the two caves open to the visit on the site. Margot and Rochefort are two different and complementary cavities, developed in a very old limestone rock. One is decorated (engravings) while the other has been inhabited. The site of the valley of the Erve, in open access is classified Natura 2000\. An app, which can be downloaded free of charge, allows you to stroll and discover the valley in a fun way.
