0243955560The parish of Courtillers was part of the entire Middle Ages and the Old Regime of the Archpriesthood of the Arrow in the diocese of Angers. The Pouillé de l'église Cathédrale d'Angers, written in 1392, tells us that the cure was for the appointment of the prebended canon of Saint-Martial. The church is dedicated to Saint-Jean-Baptiste. The Seigneury of Courtillers belonged to the Abbey of Perray-Neuf-en-Précigné.
