Chapelle Saint Aubin
58 avenue des Hauts de Saint-Aubin 49100 Angers
- Maine-et-Loire
- Pays de la Loire
The chapel of Saint Aubin was built in 2020 by the diocese of Angers in this new district of the city (more than 15,000 inhabitants planned), next to 2 households of the association Simon de Cyrène where live brain-injured and able-bodied people. The goal is to ensure a church presence for the new population by providing a place of healing. The chapel was designed with a part choir whose liturgical furniture is slate, the cross and the tabernacle enamel on copper, a virgin in wood has just been installed there. It opens onto a large space that can also serve as a meeting room. The entire construction was designed with respect for the environment in mind.
