Accompanied by the archaeologists of the Department, come to visit the premises of the Archaeology Pole and discover the path of the archaeological elements resulting from the excavations: washing, processing, inventory, study by type of material, drawing, anthropological study, collection storage.
In parallel, a workshop will present the site of the collections with a professional showing containers and objects illustrating the different stages, explaining the work and answering questions.

The Archaeology Center of the Departmental Conservation of Heritage is authorized by the State for diagnostics and preventive excavations concerning the ancient, medieval and modern periods. His interventions cover a vast field of research, including several specialties such as the archaeology of the built or the funerary archaeology. All the archaeological furniture is kept in a Conservation and Study Centre open to students and researchers.
