This seigneurial house built in the 2nd half of the 15th century by Jean Perrot, Lord of Pescoux, became the audience of justice from the 16th century. Jean Baptiste Colbert bought the chatellenie of Pescoux in 1658. Many archives, court proceedings, leases.
It was also in this courtroom that the citizens of Contilly met in March 1789 to draft the complaints book.
