Villa Lawrance houses the English Circle as well as the Museum of Resistance and Deportation. Originally, it was the country villa of Pierre Schlumberger, whose residence in town was located on the current boulevard des Pyrénées. Both will be bought by the rich American Lawrance who will bequeath his name to him.
