Founded in 1976 by the association "Les Amis de Jean Rostand", this site was chosen by the biologist Jean Rostand and his collaborator the naturalist Pierre Darré as a meeting place between man and the living.
The Jean Rostand Biodiversity Centre is a unique place, bringing together the diversity of Landes Landes, dry moors, marshes, peat bogs, streams, ponds and forests.
Through a walk or school time, the visitor will discover the richness of wetlands, that of our planet, and the impact of our societies on the environment.
