In a green area between the Gironde and the Landes, in the 1990s, the ceramic artist-painter Darie Schotte restored a house in ruins to make it his workshop. Since his death, this house has become the setting for housing and showcasing his work. The whole estate serves the art of ceramics and the studio she has built continues to be a place of creation. Today, his daughter has taken over the workshop and new artists come together to learn, exchange and create. During public events or private visits, the vocation of this ensemble is to present the different ways of using the earth and enamels and to initiate to the art of the earth.
