In the town of Lardin Saint-Lazare, a short distance from the Vézère, the castle of Peyraux and its commons, connected by a terrace and surrounded by gardens, are part of a preserved valley, dominated by the Poujoulou. The presence of abundant springs probably explains the location of the castle.

Many trades allow the good maintenance of buildings, gardens and park.
