The Musée de la Première Brigade de la Marche Limousine des FTPF du Colonel Georges Guingouin, presents, through three exhibition rooms, various objects, weapons, photos, related to the maquis (resistance movement) of Georges Guingouin. They address the birth and extension of the maquis, the actions of the Resistance (pamphlets, sabotage, etc.), the meetings of Mount Gargan or the role of women in the Resistance. The Nazi crimes (murders) in Limousin (Tulle, Oradour-sur-Glane) are also mentioned, as well as the Liberation of Limoges. The third chamber refers mainly to the Nazi camps, the French internment camps and the militia.
