About the location

Maison de Quartier Centre
Place Jean Hameau, 33260 La Teste-de-Buch
  • Gironde
  • Nouvelle-Aquitaine
This neighborhood house, formerly called Maison Lalanne, was the home of many famous families of the Teste de Buch, it was owned by the son of Jean Hameau then Pierre Lesca and finally by the Lalanne family who gave it its name. In 1928, the town of Teste inherited this house inspired by typical provincial architecture of the second half of the 18th century in the town centre. It housed the municipal media library and has now become a neighbourhood house, a place offering hospitality, entertainment, activities and services offered by a team of professionals.
