Concerning the site, it is a preventive excavation of 7 ha, which reveals remains dated to this day from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age. One perceives in particular heated stone fireplaces, as well as a fossoved Gallic enclosure. The excavation and the fine analysis of these remains will allow to understand their precise function, the social status of their occupants, their duration of use, etc.

The construction site is located «Chemin de la forêt», opposite the «Lamberty-Véolia» company. A small dirt road serves the platform of the site on which visitors can park.
