A group of Blue Penitents from Saint-Junien will conduct a historic procession in the old cemetery to show those present how, in the 17th century, the group of blue penitents of the Order of Saint-Jérôme de Saint-Junien carried out their processions. In addition, the Association Société des Vieilles Pierres will explain to the population all the historical facts of this group of Penitents.

The chapel Sainte-Madeleine, located in the heart of the old cemetery of Saint-Junien, is mentioned since the thirteenth century. In the 17th century, the blue penitents settled there, enlarged it and endowed it with a splendid baroque altarpiece. The visit allows to discover its sober architecture and witnesses of the presence of the blue penitents.
