Exhibition: Weather and Climate Observations
Come and discover this new exhibition revealing the complex relationships that man has always had with his environment and his close links with the climate.
Highlighting the evolutions over several centuries and returning to painful episodes, it gives to all and all the keys of reading and interpretation of a great current debate, crossing the local and national history, the history of mentalities and the history of science. How did our ancestors suffer the climatic hazards? How did they interpret them? Is it possible today to reconstruct the climate of yesterday and to draw an analysis for tomorrow? These historical reflections resonate with great topicality, as shown by recent national and local programmes.
Exhibition produced by the Archives départementales de la Corrèze in collaboration with Météo France.
