Come discover the Garonne around an exhibition in partnership with the Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA.

The Garonne is intrinsically linked to the city of Langon, it is in its past, in its present and in its future. With the desire to pay tribute to it, the Culture Department asked the Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA team to propose an exhibition launched on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, on the theme of water.
Grandiose, attractive and disturbing, water remains a source of inspiration and an object of fascination for artists. The exhibition «A drop of water is enough to create a world», presents works from the collection of the Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA focusing on recreational activities and the imagination associated with aquatic surroundings. The nautical games, the coastline, navigation are all topics discussed during the exhibition, establishing a multiplicity of points of view and approaches, promoting unexpected dialogues between the works.
Artists: Marcos Avila Forero, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, Julie Chaffort, Delphine Chanet, Raymond Depardon, Bernard Faucon, Pauline Fondevila, Anne Garde, William Klein, Jean-Marc Lacabe, O. Winston Link, Nicolas Milhé, Claude Nori, Bernard Plossu, Loïc Raguénès, Denis Roche and Sory Sanlé
