Related to the temporary exhibition Les artistes des tranchées. 1914-1918», Jean Boisserie, the French master and best workman, will perform a demonstration of the manufacture of a brass object (dinanderie) in the gardens of the Michelet Museum.
After meticulously observing the objects made by the Poilus during the First World War, Jean Boisserie reproduces the gestures and techniques used by the soldiers-artists to make, in turn, from a blank shell casing, a brass object.
Dive into trench crafting differently with this demonstration!
