Jardin botanique
31 rue Gaëtan de Bernoville, 64500 Saint-Jean-de-Luz
- Pyrénées-Atlantiques
- Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Designed in the 1990s by Anne-Elizabeth Wolf, a landscape architect and botanist, the Jardin botanique littoral de Saint-Jean-de-Luz has since been carefully monitored by its designer, who manages its evolution in partnership with gardeners.
Managed according to environmentally friendly techniques, the Botanical Garden offers its visitors a walk through the natural environments of the Basque coast: the coastal pine forest, the Atlantic oak forest, the dunes, the wetlands, the maritime moors, the cliffs, etc. In addition, many exotic plants adapted to the gardens of the Basque Coast form the web of the labyrinth of botanical families and plants of the five continents.
