In our village, the marble stone of Arudy is omnipresent. The Magdalenians used it as a shelter, today’s men continue to shape it for buildings, decoration and art.

Discovery of the hill Saint-Michel:
Since the middle of the 17th century, on its promontory, the chapel dominates the city and is decorated with a mural by local painter Pierre Martinez. The Calvary offers a view of the entire Ossau Valley. The complex overlooks the cave occupied by the Magdalenians nearly 20,000 years ago.
Jewellery and Tool Creation Workshop:
In the rock shelter of the Saint-Michel cave, like our distant ancestors, you can try your hand at the factory of ornaments (without drill) and prehistoric tools.
