La Garonne reminds us of its maritime past, lets us contemplate the beauty of its banks, without forgetting the industries that have strongly marked the local life. Traces left by the Second World War, passing through the “shadow” of the luminous city and the beautiful resurrection of the city Claveau, until now always in solidarity with the neighbourhood… It is indeed a journey that awaits you!
THE ASSOCIATION:
The Alternative Urbaine Bordeaux is developing a form of local and supportive tourism.
We have two missions:
Organize unusual walks in the unfamiliar or unfamiliar areas of the metropolis to contribute to a change of look
→ Train and then hire local residents away from work to lead a cultural season of walks as an urban scout. This paid activity is a springboard back to a chosen and sustainable job.
