A major element of the heritage of the 20th century in Normandy, built according to the Byzantine square plan, surmounted by a massive bell tower.
One of the first reinforced concrete churches in France (1924 – 1933),
construction by the Parisian architect Albert Guilbert and interior decoration, mosaics and stained glass by the Parisian mosaicist Ernest Jean Gaudin,
Consecration on 30 September 1933,
Suffering from the disease of reinforced concrete and some weaknesses of the arches supporting the huge belfry extinguished,
Listed as a historical monument on 25 March 1993.
After the restoration of the bell tower in 2013, in 2021, it began a second phase of work that will be done in 3 slices over a period of 7 years with the restoration of the exterior walls, glass, portals and all the magnificent interior decoration (painted decorations, mosaics, furniture, etc.).
Work on the first slab (north, east and south exterior walls, as well as the north and south canopies) was completed on April 26, 2022.

After the restoration of the bell tower in 2013, it requires a second phase of work for the rest of the building with the restoration of the exterior walls, glass windows, portals and all the beautiful interior decoration (painted decorations, mosaics, furniture, etc.).
