The garden of Brécy rises on four terraces connected by a beautiful staircase with convex degrees and rising above the parterre at the back of the house up to the gate overlooking the sky. These terraces have an increasing width in order to correct the perspective. The central aisle ends with two successive portals. The sculpted decorations are of great refinement: acanthus balusters, vases, pilasters, consoles. Note also the many trees cut in topiaries, the holly balls in orange boxes and the small garden of aromatic herbs. The gardens are green, white and blue. Boxwood, yew and charms decline green. A collection of laurels, osmanthus, holly, rests on the wall of the last terrace. Depending on the season, the flowers are tulips, iris, hellebori, peonies, romneya coulteri, cardons, magnolias. On the house, the rose "Madame Alfred Carrière", pearly white, rubs Decumaria sinensis. In the blues, durandii or jackmanii clematis accompany agapanthes, nepetas, perovskias and solanums. A large collection of clematis dot the garden as well as old roses behind the church.
Brécy has kept a strong medieval footprint, independent walled gardens, Renaissance acquisitions, sculpture and embroidery, while announcing the great compositions of the classical French gardens, in close relationship with the house.
