Archives Patrimoine

Built in 1912, the mill on Queue-de-renard Street was used until 2007 to make flour. On the 4 floors of the building, you will discover the different production steps that allow the processing of wheat grain: cleaning, milling, crushing, breakdown and finally converting. Most machines and work tools are still exposed and provide a better understanding of the process. Stage at the artistic workshop of Stéphane Pichard.

About the location

Moulin de Fécamp
3 rue Queue de Renard, 76400 Fécamp
  • Seine-Maritime
  • Normandie
The Moulin de Fécamp is an amazing building from the beginning of the last century located on the Valmont, the small river that crosses Fécamp. Moving vestige frozen in time, it is an invitation to immerse yourself in an industrial past that once animated the city of Fecampoise.
The mill was operated until 2007 for the manufacture of flour. Most of the machines and work tools are still on display and provide a better understanding of the production process of the time. Even today, the hydraulic power of the mill produces electricity.
