Located in a secondary establishment, the chapel was built thanks to a subscription thrown(launched) in the diocese of Sées to the memory of the pupils and professors killed in fight during the World War I; the first stone was put in 1926 and the chapel was dedicated in 1932\. Two artists participated in the decoration(set) of the chapel: Louis Barillet for stained-glass windows, paintings(paints) and mosaic; Émile-Marie Beaume for frescoes, in particular for the Way of the Cross(long, hard way).
