The Dieppe Raid, Canada’s darkest day of the Second World War, is steeped in controversy, mystery and tragedy. The exhibition explores the evolution of our understanding of the raid, its connection to Juno Beach at D-Day and the liberation of Dieppe in September 1944.

The Juno Beach Centre showcases the civil and military war effort in Canada and on the various fronts during the Second World War. This memorial site commemorates the 45,000 Canadians who lost their lives during the Second World War, including 5,500 during the Battle of Normandy and 359 on D-Day. The Juno Beach Centre is also a window into today’s Canada.
