This castle of style Louis XIII is the old(former) house of the writer Roger Martin du Gard (1881-1958), author of Thibault and of Maumort, Nobel Prize(Prizes) in Literature 1937\. The French-style wooded park was drawn under the First Empire and realised by Joseph Abrial, Secretary of Napoleon. It was later done up by Roger Martin du Gard.
