Guided tour of the treasures of Authieux-sur-Calonne
Chapel Saint-Meuf 16th century, classified Historical Monument is formed by the triumphal arch of the old church. In 1960, the Brothers of Charity of the Authieux were concerned about safeguarding this religious patrimony and made it their place of encounter and prayer. The Manoir de La Porte, a domain that seems to have taken the name of its owner in 1650. The manor house includes a rectangular one-storey square, four-sided roof with two stumps of chimneys. The construction is without corbelling and presents a fern drawing of the wood panel. The interior is occupied by a central hallway, with a kitchen and a living room on both sides. Upstairs are several rooms, one of which is entirely covered with wallpaper, the pattern of which was first published in 1882 with, as reference, "Manufacture Joseph Dufour, Paris, 1808". In view of the high and low borders, the dating of the specimen of the manor house would be later, to situate around 1820.
